Call for Papers

New deadline! Submit a proposal before December 31! We invite papers on any topic relevant to the fields of pragmatics and intercultural communication, focusing on theoretical and applied research. Papers grounded in different research traditions, including experimental pragmatics and intercultural, cross-cultural and societal aspects of pragmatics, will be welcome. We now accept proposals in English, French and Spanish!

INPRA 2024

The 10th International Conference on Intercultural Pragmatics and Communication (INPRA) will be held in Pisa from 30th May to 1st June 2024.

The INPRA Conference is a biennial meeting, and the Pisa conference marks the 20th anniversary of this key event in the field of intercultural pragmatics research. Submissions are now open!

The main aim of the INPRA Conference is to bring together researchers from around the world who have diverse scientific backgrounds and share the same field of interest – pragmatics, being perceived as a cognitive, philosophical, social, and intercultural perspective on language and communication. The conference promotes connections between pragmatic theory and its application in practice.
