Biography
Paul Saka has a PhD in linguistics and a PhD in philosophy. With trans-disciplinary interest in the theory and practice of interpretation, he has published in linguistics, philosophy, logic, artificial intelligence, psychology, anthropology, religious studies, and historiography. Previous work, attempting to reduce semantics to pragmatics, has appeared in the Journal of Philosophy, Mind, and his book How to Think about Meaning (Springer, 2007). Forthcoming pieces are to appear in science studies, legal scholarship, literary criticism, and a reprint volume of science fiction, The Best of Amazing Stories.
