Biography
Kristin Rygg is Associate Professor at the Norwegian School of Economics, Department of Professional and Intercultural Communication. Her research areas include socio-pragmatics with a special focus on politeness theory and intercultural business communication with a special interest in the East Asian and Scandinavian regions.
Stine Hulleberg Johansen has a PhD in English linguistics from the Department of Literature, Area Studies and European Languages at the University of Oslo. Her areas of interest are Corpus Linguistics, Pragmatics and Corpus Pragmatics. She is currently employed as a postdoctoral researcher in the MULTIWRITE project funded by the Norwegian Research Council.
