Francesco Nacchia

Francesco Nacchia is a Research Fellow at the University of Naples ‘L’Orientale’. He holds a PhD in (Euro)languages and Specialized Terminology from the University of Naples ‘Parthenope’, where he researched on Agribusiness Terminology with a specific focus on Trade, Wine-Tasting metaphor, and Innovative Eating Practices (e.g. Veganism and Vegetarianism). He is currently working on a project concerning sustainability in the wine sector and the investigation of metaphorization dynamics in specialized discourse. His major research interests include Critical Metaphor Analysis, (Multimodal) Critical Discourse Analysis and Specialized Discourse.
