Biography
Chen Rou is a PhD student at the University of Lille, specializing in verbal interactions and disagreement in Chinese and French contexts. Her research particularly focuses on the dynamics of disagreement in informal settings and its implications for teaching French as a foreign language. She is involved in the “DOC” project (Didactique, Oral, Corpus) led by Emmanuelle Canut and Juliette Delahaie at the University of Lille. This project aims to develop a database of oral interactions for teaching French as a foreign language, utilizing a comparative interlanguage approach that includes French, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian.
