Biography
Dan Zeman’s main research interests is in the philosophy of language, in particular the semantics and pragmatics of various natural language expressions such as predicates of taste aesthetic and moral terms, pejoratives and slurs, gender terms, etc. He has published in various journal such as Thought, Dialectica, Linguistics & Philosophy, Philosophia, Critica, Inquiry, Theoria, Analysis and has contributed to numerous collective volumes. He has also done editing work for journals (Southern Journal of Philosophy, Grazer Philosophische Studien, Organon F, Synthese) and publishing houses (Routledge, Springer). He is the co-coordinator of the international network Slurring Terms Across Languages.
